April 2010 - I'm going on a 12-day photo expedition to Costa Rica this month. It is a tour organized by Doug Brown of the US in conjunction with Greg Basco and his company Fotoverde, who I traveled with in 2007 & 2008. I have high hopes for more quality bird photos (maybe a Resplendant Quetzal) and lots of macro photographic opportunities.
June 2010 - Phyllis & I will spend this entire month on Oahu (two weeks of which will include son Tim, his wife Andrea and our three grandkids). Lots of bird species, but I have photographed most of them. This is a good month to find nesting Fairy Terns with chicks, often on very low branches.
September 2010 - Phyllis & I are going on a two week Mediterranean cruise from Venice to Istanbul, stopping at many Greek islands in the Aegean Sea. This will be preceded by two nights in Venice.
November 2010 - Phyllis & I will spend this entire month on Oahu (two weeks of which will include son Tim, his wife Andrea and our three grandkids). Lots of bird species, but I have photographed most of them. I hope to photograph, perhaps to include some 7D video, the Van's Triple Crown surfing event on Oahu's north shore this month. This was an objective last November, which went unfulfilled.
